SafePlay (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the app”) is a parent-curated video player application developed by AwsTheme. This app allows parents and guardians to create safe, curated video playlists for their children.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding information when you use SafePlay. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children.

SafePlay is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable children’s privacy laws worldwide, including:

SafePlay stores the following information only on your device (never transmitted to any server):

Important: This locally stored data:

• Never leaves your device

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 YouTube Video Streaming

SafePlay uses YouTube for video playback. When videos are played:

• Videos stream directly from YouTube’s servers to your device
• SafePlay does not have access to any YouTube account data
• No YouTube login or authentication is required or supported
• YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to video streaming

4.2 No Third-Party SDKs

SafePlay does NOT integrate any of the following:

• Advertising SDKs or ad networks
• Analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Social media SDKs
• Crash reporting services that collect personal data
• User tracking or behavioral analysis tools

5. Children’s Privacy Protection

5.1 No Personal Information Collection

We do not collect, use, or disclose any personal information from children. Period.

5.2 Parental Controls

• PIN Protection: All settings and content management are protected by a parent-set PIN code
• Curated Content Only: Children can only view videos that parents have explicitly added
• No Search Function: Children cannot search for or discover new videos
• No External Links: Children cannot navigate away from the app or access external websites

5.3 No Advertising

SafePlay is completely ad-free. We do not display any advertisements to children or adults. There are no banner ads, video ads, or sponsored content of any kind.

5.4 No In-App Purchases

SafePlay does not offer any in-app purchases. Children cannot accidentally or intentionally make any purchases within the app.

5.5 No Social Features

SafePlay does not include any social features. Children cannot:

• Create public profiles or usernames
• Chat or communicate with others
• Share content to social media
• Post comments or reviews
• Connect with other users

5.6 No External Links

The app does not contain links that would take children outside of the SafePlay environment.

6. Parental Rights and Controls

As a parent or guardian, you have complete control over your child’s experience:

6.1 Access and Review

• View all videos in your child’s library at any time
• Review local viewing history
• See all profile settings and preferences

6.2 Modify and Delete

• Add or remove videos from the library
• Edit or delete child profiles
• Modify viewing schedules and restrictions
• Reset or change your PIN code

6.3 Complete Data Deletion

• Delete individual videos or profiles within the app
• Uninstall the app to permanently delete ALL data

7. Data Security

Since SafePlay stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit data to external servers:

• Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security features (device lock, encryption)
• Parent settings are additionally protected by a PIN code within the app
• There is no risk of data breaches from our servers (because we have no servers storing your data)
• No data is transmitted over the internet except for video streaming from YouTube

8. Data Retention

• While App is Installed: Data is stored locally on your device
• After Uninstallation: All data is permanently deleted
• Our Servers: We do not retain any user data as we do not collect any

9. International Users

SafePlay is available worldwide. Since we do not collect or transfer any personal data, there are no international data transfer concerns. All data remains on your local device regardless of your location.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

If we make material changes to how we treat children’s personal information, we will notify users through an app update notification.
